Home watch vs. second-home management in Park City: what is the difference?
Both services can give an absent homeowner local support, but they solve different problems. The easiest way to choose is to decide whether you primarily need recurring property checks or someone to coordinate the broader operation of the home.
Home watch is primarily about recurring visibility.
A home-watch service typically centers on scheduled visual checks while the owner is away. The purpose is to look for obvious conditions that deserve attention, document what was observed, and provide the owner with a local set of eyes on the property.
For a Park City second home, that can be useful during long absences, winter weather, shoulder seasons, or any period when the owner simply wants somebody entering the property on an agreed schedule.
Second-home management is broader.
Second-home management can include property checks, but it also takes responsibility for more of the ongoing coordination around the home: maintenance scheduling, cleaner and vendor access, repair follow-through, seasonal readiness, requested arrival preparation, deliveries, and owner communication.
